Quest text

The archeologist, Doctor Winston, currently does research at a camping site in East Rocky Mountain II. He recently called me about a strange rumor he heard.
During the excavation, Doctor Winston said he heard a rumor about a very old tree living in Perion. However, he had no clue on what kind of tree it was, or where exactly it was located. That's why he's asked me to visit Perion village to collect information on this particular tree. Shall I start by visiting Blackbull?
I met Blackbull in Perion. Would he know anything about that tree?

Dialogue 2 phases

To start

NPC for this step: Winston .

  1. Have you heard the rumors?
    What rumors?

  2. There are rumors about the Ghost Tree roaming around Perion.
A Ghost Tree? Could there really be a Ghost Tree?
    No way~ ghosts don't exist.

  3. I guess so. I don't believe the rumors either. However, I've also heard of something else. There is a legend of a tree that has grown in Perion since the olden days. You must have heard about it, right?
    Well... I don't recall...

  4. Well, if the tree in question were actually real, then it'd help my research a lot. That said, I don't have enough evidence. Not many know about this particular tree. The tribespeople of Perion seem to know something, but they won't answer my questions.
    Could they be hiding something?

  5. This is why I need your help. I've heard you're closer to the Perion tribespeople than I am. Would you please help and collect information about that tree?

Branch 1

  1. I see your curiosity got the better of you. In that case start your journey to Perion and find someone who knows about the tree. Yeah... why don't you go find Blackbull first?

Branch 2

  1. Where has your thriving curiosity gone? If you thought it was bothersome, then why didn't you say so in the first place? What a waste of time.

To complete

NPC for this step: Blackbull .

  1. What's the matter?
Have you heard about the Ghost Tree?

  2. A ghost tree? Ah, you must be talking about the giant stump, right? I heard from my father that his father used to see such trees when he was young. The story says that each branch of the tree bears a red piece of cloth, which was dyed in the blood of ghosts. I have never seen it in person, so I don't know whether or not it's true.
    You didn't catch anything else?

  3. I'm sorry, but I'm not really good at following rumors.
