Mai's training is just about defeating monsters, but it seems really useful for learning how to hunt. Let's continue with Mai's training.
Mai believes that, while understanding my abilities is important, challenging myself with stronger monsters is also a great training method. She asked me to defeat 1 Orange Mushroom.
An Orange Mushroom...? They seem really strong. Can I really defeat one?
After Mai's training, I feel much, much stronger. Time to get off Maple Island! I should go to Southperry and take the boat to Victoria Island.

  1. Wow, you're fast! That's awesome. We'll head straight to the next quest. It's important to know your limits, but it's also important to test your abilities. Want to try defeating some powerful monsters?

  1. This time, you'll be hunting Orange Mushroom, which you WON'T find just casually wandering around. You'll have to go into every portal to find them. I want you to defeat 1!

  2. Also, I've heard that Biggs is collecting something from the Orange Mushrooms... If you haven't filled Biggs's request yet, you might want to try doing so while you train.
